I started my personal styling business in Melbourne, StyleStaples, as an accumulation of my life skills. As a child, my Grandmother taught me to sew and make clothes for my dolls. I loved the colours and textures of the fabrics and especially enjoyed deciding which outfits they would wear! At school I received the Tertiary Textiles award and from there started a career in the retail industry, holding many positions from store management to the buying office.

After many years of working in the retail industry I took on a new role as a stay at home mum, but missed being in the bright lights of the shopping centers! I used my spare time to read about starting a business, took some short courses and studied at night with the Australian College of Professional Styling where I successfully received my Diploma of Professional Styling.

I am addicted to watching fashionistas on the street and glossy magazines! I adore beautiful fabrics in natural fibres and am always looking for the perfect print. When dressing, I mix classics with statements, old with new and designer with discount. And I can’t start the day without a good coffee!

As a personal stylist my goal is to help you feel fabulous with affordable styling sessions, giving you the knowledge to dress & shop with confidence. I believe;

• every body can look amazing, no matter your age, lifestyle or budget;

• style is a skill that you can learn, it is my job to empower you with the knowledge to dress and shop with ease;

• you don’t need a lot of clothes to create a functioning wardrobe;
